Missing Our Main Guy!

So "our main guy" has been gone in Africa as you know if you are following my blog. We are still counting down the days till he comes home. This last trip has really made us realize that Dad really is the life of the party. There is just something not right when he is gone. Anyway, this week has been interesting. I'm not gonna lie, I'm so tired and a little lonely. I miss having Sean to complain to everyday! haha

Today we went to the park for a couple of hours and Reagan got her first bee sting. She was devastated and very angry at bees.  I'm a little worried because it looks swollen about 10 hours later. I will be calling the nurse hotline tonight Sean, don't you worry. :)

Look at that face Sean, that has to make you feel guilty. He misses you!

Does this face make you feel guilty? haha I'm a dork I know. Too much alone time on my hands.

So, last night our good friends came over and put together Reagan and Drew's new trundle beds. We were all so excited and I was a little nervous. The crib wouldn't fit in the room anymore so Drew is forced to start sleeping in her "big girl" bed. Yikes! Time is flying by so quickly...I'm done with cribs forever. sniff sniff There's always grandkids!

Bailey felt left out so he asked if I would take a picture of him in his bed to show Dad. There you go Dad. Isn't he adorable!

Tonight is the first night Drew has no bars to hold her in, darn this is going to be hard or maybe not. We'll see in the morning if she has escaped before I awake and made us all breakfast or something. I need gates, lots of gates!!!!

This is Drew and I talking about how she is a big girl now and she is going to sleep in her big girl bed. No getting out! She is laughing and saying inside, "I'm free!!!"

Well, as I'm blogging Drew is fast asleep in her big girl bed. She tried to escape once only to find me starring her down as she was trying to sneak very slowly out of her bedroom. "Not so fast girlfriend!!!!" She quickly ran as fast as should could and jumped in her bed. As I was keeping watch on the couch I hear a cute, off key voice singing," Yes Jesus Loves Me." I love those sounds. Well, I will be sleeping on the couch tonight just to make sure we don't have a sleep walker on our hands. It does run in the family as some of you know. hehehe
11 days down 7 more to go! We are really missing you Sean! Today was a fun-filled day. Not really but thought you might like to see the latest events going on while you are away in Africa. Have fun on the Safari!!!
Can't wait till you come home and we can have some much needed family time.
We love you Hun!!!!!!

One more day of being bored and then here comes the fun to keep your mind preoccupied of missing Sean. 9 children at your house might help you. Poor Sean the house might not be the same when you get back. J/K. LOL. See you on Friday.

Love ya,
Mache

Hey girl, Is Sean home yet? You poor thing. Ernest is gone a week and I turn into a basket case.

Also, did you always have the girls share a room? How did that go with a NB? Those are things I am trying to figure out.
