Visit from Friends

Some of our very dear friends from our past ministry in Southern California FINALLY (and I hope they are reading this) came for a visit. I wasn't going to believe it until they walked in my front door. We all lead such busy lives and it was a visit even better than anticipated. We took a little trip to Napa to show them some of the more beautiful parts of Northern Ca. We had fun!

The flowers here are just so pretty so I had to add a few of these shots I took. Charity and I were playing photographer all day, it was fun.

Love this flower.

So one thing Sean has missed more than anyone knows is Rowena's famous Peach Cobbler. I got the recipe and tried to make it twice and failed miserably both times. I thought it was my oven so she made one for us and it turned out PERFECT!
Sean actually froze some to save for later cause he didn't want it all to go to waste.

We all know what a foodie Sean is. He's happy now.

All our kids together again, minus little Drew.

Rowena is one of my best friends in life and even though we don't get to just sit and chat that much, we both know our friendship is one that will last a lifetime.

A friend of ours runs a beautiful golf course in Napa and gave us 3 carts to drive around the course and take pictures, I took too many to post but here are some of my favorites.

I can't believe how beautiful these girls have gotten. Wowie!

Napa, Ca....Good times

Your photography skills are awesome. Your pictures have depth and personality. I am praying that God really uses you with this.

It is great to see the Elliots. It seems like it was yesterday when Dave was a teen who shared in my interest of horses.

I miss you all!!! Love,

Dad

Oh. My. Word. You did an awesome job on this blog! I couldn't stop reading and marveling at your photos. You are professional! Bailey's face is looking more grown up and I starting tearing up when I saw the produce from Larry's. Nothing fresh around here and so expensive. I miss you all!
