For Labor Day, we decided to go check out Gold Rush Days. It is held in Old Town Sacramento. Everyone dresses up western style and they set it up like an old cowboy town. It was really fun. I took way too many pictures to post here.
I questioned myself posting this picture but let's be real here, this is who I'm married to and I can't be embarrassed of it.
Love you babe!
They did a little gun fight/skit. It was a little cheesy but the kids had fun anyway.
Oh, these burgers were FABULOUS!
This was fun for the kids. He made them a whistle. What wasn't fun was hearing my kids blowing it ALL DAY LONG!
Let's just say my kids are probably a little sick of me telling them to smile for the camera. I don't blame them, I'm a little nutso when it comes to catching that perfect shot. Bailey is my one kid who is always down to strike a pose. Thanks Bay!
Ok, so I had to have Sean take a pic for me. I was SOOOOO excited (little things thrill me these days) when I got to make perfect use of my portable travel potty. I found this brand new at a yard sale with all the bags and soak up pads for $4 bucks. Yipee!!! I thought this would be perfect for my long trips home to Southern Ca. Sean wasn't convinced even $4 bucks was a bargain. So, I got to prove my husband wrong once again (this happens often) and needless to say he saw it my way. :)
We were headed home in the parking garage, Drew said urgently:" I HAVE TO GO!" Carly: "OH, oh, oh, let me pop that trunk and get your potty!!!!!" Sean: "Oh brother, so you were right, whatever. " Inside he was stewing because he hates it when I'm right and he's wrong. (It happened again) ;)

Sweet! The travel potty was an awesome purchase....I would use it!
Too much information! But, the burger and fries make up for it.
Love,
Dad
