Yes, the next day I did have to get on the roof for Sean. He is afraid of heights. I didn't mind, I was just excited to get Christmas going!
Sean brought this tree home from Lowes for $25 bucks! I wasn't the best tree we've ever had but hey, we are on a budget and this is as good as it gets right now!
The kids had fun decorating and Drew only broke like 3 ornaments this year!
My mom had a fun tradition. Every year she would buy each kid an ornament (usually from Hallmark) and then when we moved out she would give them all to us. This was my very first ornament. I love it! We've been doing the same since Reagan was born and they get so excited to put up their own ornaments on the tree.
I hope you all have a relaxed, enjoyable holiday. Take time to appreciate the little things God blesses us with in life. He is the reason for the season.
