weekend retreat.

I had the privilege to spend the weekend with some of the women from Crossroads. We went to Koinonia Camp in the gorgeous Santa Cruz mountains.

I was moved by the spirit these women have. I've never experienced such authenticity. I have to admit I have been hurt by a few women in my past and it is hard for me to let down some walls I have had built up for a while now. God really showed me that there are relationships He desires for me to have here where I am right now and for the first time, it excited me. God brings just what you need when you need it. There is nothing better for a soul than to just rest in the fact that God loves you and desires the best for your life. I really felt His love through the entire weekend. It was sweet.

And boy did I laugh this weekend. For all my sisters and high school buddies, I was having flash backs of me peeing my pants from laughing too hard. Crossroads women are CRAZY fun! I wish I had two hours to post all my 500 pictures and describe every fun memory but I don't.

This is my good girlfriend Selena. She pushed me to do the ropes course and zip line. I am so glad I did it. It was really high and so scary but I just felt so good when I completed the course. It was really symbolic for a lot of us. For me I felt like there are so many things in my life that I think I can't do but with God's help He shows me over and over again that I can do anything with Him!

I was so scared here, you have no idea how high this was, yikes!!!
