thoughts on the new year

I've been praying and pondering a lot lately about what 2011 will bring for me. Most of it is really out of my control but what I choose to do with what God has given to me is really my decision. I feel so blessed that God has given Sean and I these three sweet little kids to raise and at the same time this rush of fear and regret comes over me sometimes when I think about the years that have already passed us by. They go by so quickly and "life" can get in the way of what is truly important. I say all that to say, I really want to use this year to invest more into the lives of our kids.

Quality time, family talks about God and what it is to be a true Christ follower, lots and lots of hugs, consistency, patience, understanding, praying together, laughing, lots and lots of laughing, family dinners at the table, Wii dance offs, serving together, discipline with love, celebrating our salvation, appreciating our freedoms, living what we preach at home when no one's watching....

Regs is such a little booger but I love her, she is so workin' the
tween thing it's ridiculous.

Can he be dramatic or what? I just wanted a simple smile for the camera and he got all serious with me. He destined to be an actor.
Here's Smiley!

10 going on 20

Seriously, how am I going to stick to my New Year's resolution of better discipline with this face. It's so hard to punish right now. I'm gonna do it!!!! I think I can, I think I can!!!
His eyes are telling me how crazy I am and how sick he is
of me taking his pictures all the time.

I was thinking the same thing this new year! I am so blessed with three little men that are growing up WAY too fast and there are too many good moments to pass up! Btw, I struggle with Grady like you do with Drew. Sometimes they just melt your heart or make you laugh your behind off!
