Baby You're a Firework!

Was it only me, but was that song (Firework) stuck in anyone's head Monday?

We heard it everywhere we went.

Happy 4th! We hope all our friends and family had a wonderful holiday. I was so excited it fell on a Monday cause I got a day off of summer school! Wahoo!!!

By the way, I'm in summer school trying to knock out all my pre-reqs for the nursing program here at Solano Community College but that's another blog post in itself.

And here is another blog post I've been itching to share. I so feel like my blog is so self-centered but if I ever posted the serious stuff on here you all would just think I need therapy and that my husband and I are in the wrong line of work. Isn't it funny though how people can make their lives look oh so fabulous on facebook or on their blog? Do you really think I'm gonna post the pictures of myself that show my adult acne or my cellulite? I think not. I told my friend yesterday that pretty much if I look good in the family picture then that's the one I'm posting. I don't want to pretend that I have it all together here or that my life is just full of fabulousity. Life is hard and marriage is hard and raising kids especially according to the Bible is hard but I will say, God has never failed me or my family. He has blessed us beyond anything I could imagine. The hard work we put in pays off three fold. Those days I feel lonely, depressed, ugly, overwhelmed or just angry, He is there. That is not a lie.

I love my Father, and He loves me. :)

So, my life is blessed...not perfect...but blessed.

I say all this to say, ladies especially, don't compare your life to what you see on someone else's blog or on facebook. It's not the whole truth. It is what people want you to see and there is so much we all don't see, so be thankful for where God put you and how He made you. You are exactly who He wanted you to be so be proud of that!

My baby girls. Reagan is such a wonderful sister and helper for me. I am so blessed to have her for my daughter. Drew is pretty special too but I've been accused of playing favorites so I won't say much about her.

Bailey has been like a big brother to these cute boys lately,

they call him their favorite friend. He loves it!
