God is in Control

So as most of you already know today was Drew's surgery date. Unfortunetly, things did not turn out how we expected. Drew's surgery got postponed until she can have a pediatric cardiologist look at her heart murmor. The anethstisiologist did not feel comfortable doing surgery without the blessing of a cardiologist. The frustrating part of all of this is that every appointment we had with every doctor we specifically told them about her murmor and no one seemed to think it was a big deal. They are very common and usually go away. So as you can imagine, I would rather be safe then sorry but it was difficult to hear. So today we had to realize that God is in control and sometimes we can't understand why but we know it is for a good reason. I have so much to be thankful for, although Drew has had her struggles she has been a total blessing in our lives. Her smile lights up the room. I could go on forever about all the cute and funny things she does. So today when I came home me and Drew played in the backyard and I just appreciated what God gave me in little Drew. Here are some cute pics of our day today. Thank you for all your prayers and support!

She's happy she didn't have to have surgery today! What's the problem Mom?

She was riding up and down the side of the house so fast she put holes in both her socks. She is a crazy woman.

Drew kept stopping to kiss the dog while saying "ahhhh!"
